My thoughts
This is the 3rd book in the Club Sin series. And I must admit that when I started reading this I didn’t know that until later on. But the good thing about that is that I didn’t feel that I would need to read the previous books to enjoy reading this one.
The storyline itself was simple but Ms. Kennedy uses her wondrous writing to create a sexually charged connection between Ella and Kyler. This relationship was created on trusting, non-judgemental and loving.
For me this was a quick and enjoyable read and an eye opener into the world of BDSM club sin. The book itself was scorching hot to read, I loved Kyler the alpha male who is a Club Sin Master as well as a cop in his everyday life. Thus, being in control at all times means a lot to him. And when Ella, a young girl who doesn’t have a family and is being chased by her alcoholic husband meets him and their undeniable attraction after just one night begins this hot, sexy, passionate, erotic and heart-warming story.
I loved that even though the club is a Dom and Sub club I loved the family/friends relationships that the group has for each other. It is something that you don’t see often enough and the trust that they have in each other is astounding.
There some really very tender moments between our main characters but what stood out to me were the passionate sex scenes that flew off the pages as you read them. There were some light BDSM play but if you’re into the heavier things this book could disappoint.
I’m definitely going to pick up the rest of the series to read.
